- Begin your journey from Delhi towards Haridwar, travelling by road or train as per the selected package and travel arrangements.
- Arrive at Haridwar Railway Station/Bus Stand or the designated arrival point.

- Meet your assigned driver, receive a brief introduction and get important information regarding the upcoming Chardham Yatra.
- Transfer to your Haridwar hotel and complete the check-in formalities.

Preparation Before Trip
- Complete Yatra Registration in Advance β Complete the mandatory Char Dham Yatra registration and keep the registration letter/certificate readily available for verification during the pilgrimage.
- Plan Your DelhiβHaridwar Journey β Arrange your transportation from Delhi to Haridwar in advance and plan to reach Haridwar with sufficient time for hotel check-in and preparation for the Yatra. Uttarakhand Tourism recommends starting early for this route.
- Pack for Himalayan Conditions β Carry warm clothing such as jackets, shawls and gloves along with comfortable walking shoes, as the Yatra covers high-altitude Himalayan destinations with changing weather conditions.
- Carry Essential Documents & Medicines β Keep a valid personal ID, Yatra registration documents and any prescribed medicines with you throughout the journey.
Must To Know
- Haridwar Is the Main Starting Point β For most road-based Char Dham packages from Delhi, the Yatra begins from Haridwar before proceeding towards Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath.
- Expect Long Mountain Journeys β After reaching Haridwar, the Yatra involves extended road travel through mountainous terrain and walking/trekking at some destinations, so be prepared for physically demanding travel.
- Follow Registration & Darshan Procedures β Carry your registration certificate and complete verification at the designated Dham locations. Where applicable, collect the required darshan slot/token for a smoother visit.
- Follow Local Safety Guidelines β Weather can change quickly in the mountains. Follow local advisories, avoid alcohol/tobacco, do not drink and drive, and follow instructions from local authorities and your tour operator.
Chardham Yatra from Delhi - Frequently Asked Questions
- Within 30 Days: 80% refund of the total package cost
- Within 20 Days: 50% refund of the total package cost
- Within 15 Days: Non-Refundable
- Rescheduling Dates: Extra 20% of the total package cost
- Note: 30% is nonrefundable in any case, and 80% of the total package cost will be refunded only if the entire package cost has been paid.
- Travellers may make payments in two installments.
- The first installment, taken as registration fees, will be βΉ300 per person (non-refundable).
- The remaining payment must be submitted at least 5 days before your travel date, covering the total package amount.
- Payment Options: UPI / Bank Transfer / or any other Payment Method.
- One may consider their booking as done, only after submission of application carrying their consent along with the registration fee.
- Our itinerary consists places of high altitude, thus may vary as per the weather conditions.
- Accommodating capacities of the accommodations will be subject to the size of the rooms and their availability, also air-conditioned rooms are not added in the itinerary due to presence of hilly regions in the package.
- Please note that AC packages consist of AC trains only (to & from), accommodations and road transfers won't be served with AC, other than what is mentioned in the package.
- Don't forget to carry your identity cards while travelling by train, as Railway tickets are non-transferable and could be used by you only.
- This tour consists of locations and areas where nature is still raw and it is important to conserve them, which everyone must keep in mind and avoid any littering activity.
- The organizers might modify, amend or delay the schedule and sites of the itinerary, looking at the safety of the guests according to the weather conditions of the moment.
- Travel insurance is not included in the package.
- The organizer/camp in-charge are well-trained and experienced personnel, thus carry rights for seating and other arrangements during the transfer.
- Any kind of misbehavior won't be entertained, which can lead to detention of the candidate.
